Slave History Museum houses a rich history/story about the slave trade era in Nigeria and West Africa, located in Marina Resort Calabar.
While at the Museum you would have the opportunity to see and have an insight on how slaves where transported and treated during the slave trade era, like the way the slaves where arranged in the ship during transportation, the way the White Slave Masters treated the slaves while on the farm and lots more

The aim of this museum is to provide visitors with an educational and experiential tour of the history of the slave trade, helping them gain greater understanding of the immense travails leading up to the emancipation of Africans sold as slaves.
Note:you are not allowed to take pictures while inside the museum.
The Museum is open from 8am to 6pm Mon-fri, and 12noon to 6pm on weekends.
Any taxi will take you to marina resort where the museum is situated.
